Lesbian professor's research biased

Gay FamilySerious questions are being raised about a study that suggests the sexual orientation of prospective parents should not be considered in adoptions.

The new University of Virginia study, which appears in the August issue of Applied Developmental Science, was conducted by psychology professor Charlotte J. Patterson. But Alex Mason, political analyst for the Virginia-based Family Policy Network (FPN), considers her lifestyle and decides that researchers who have something to gain by the outcome of a study are biased.

Alex Mason (Family Policy Network)"The fact of the matter is that Charlotte Patterson is herself an avowed lesbian who is raising three children with her so-called 'partner' that she married in Canada," Mason reports. "Over the years, she's written books like Lesbian, Gay and Bisexual Identity [and] Lesbian, Gay and Bisexual Identity in Youth. She even teaches seminars around the country on how to create homosexual families."

He references 2 Timothy 4:3 and suggests the psychology professor is actually a propagandist who is masquerading as a researcher.

"Paul says there's going to come a time when people will pile up things and say anything that their itching ears want to hear, no matter how illogical it sounds or no matter how logical it is," the FPN policy analyst explains. "The fact is that Charlotte Patterson is desperate for affirmation that her lifestyle is normal, so she's dedicated her life to skewing data and creating results that comfort her in her own sin."

He further notes that her research disagrees with numerous studies showing that a child is better off when raised by a married man and woman.
