The executive director of a Christian Internet service provider and filtering service has some harsh words concerning Google.
According to some pro-family organizations, Google is anything but pro-family. Brian Camenker of MassResistance claims that Google had representatives at a recent "gay" pride parade in Chicago, while Steve Ensley of American Family Online notes that every major financial announcement by Google is issued from the Playboy Mansion. "This might seem a bit harsh, but we have to quit using [Google]," he suggests. "We really have to quit using them. There are so many alternatives out there." Ensley says more-acceptable search engines include GoodSearch and Bing. "I've actually been contacted by the folks from Bing...and I'm working on a project with them right now. They want to make their search engine more family-friendly and cleaner," he adds. According to Ensley, Google -- arguably one of the most widely used search engines on the Internet -- will not allow pro-life ads to be purchased or placed on its website.
