A sports show from a Christian perspective will make its debut on the American Family Radio network.
"College Football This Week" will be hosted by American Family Association President Tim Wildmon and Mike Gottfried, a college football analyst on ESPN. Gottfried says the show will feature the latest on college football teams, coaches, and players. Plus, he says the program will feature human interest stories about players and coaches and the role faith plays in their lives on and off the field. "The stories of all the people's lives and what they've gone through, mistakes they made are all a part of trying to get the message out there of salvation," Gottfried notes, "so I think it's going to be interesting to find out even about the past and future of a lot of the sports celebrities out in our country." Gottfried spent 12 years as a college football coach. In 2000, he founded Team Focus, a comprehensive community and outreach program.
