Operation Rescue is keeping a close watch on an abortion clinic in Orange, California.
Twice within ten days, ambulances carried abortion patients from a Planned Parenthood abortion clinic to a hospital -- and that is unusual, according to Cheryl Sullinger of Operation Rescue. "The one thing that we know about abortion clinics is that they don't call the ambulances unless there's a life-threatening emergency," she explains. "And to have two of these kinds of emergencies within ten days at an abortion clinic means that there is something really wrong going on there -- [so] we're calling for an investigation of this Planned Parenthood." Sullinger believes the probe needs to take place before someone dies at the abortuary. "And we don't know that these women didn't die," she emphasizes. "We don't know what happened to them because...there's privacy laws in place, and we just are not going to ever know what has happened to these women." Operation Rescue plans to work with local pro-life activists to investigate further and will report any wrongdoing to appropriate authorities.
