After long protest, Lion’s Den porn store for sale

The Uniontown, Indiana, building occupied by the Lion’s Den porn store is now for sale, and likely to close very soon. (See AFA Journal, 8/09.) The listing was discovered by the protesters on a commercial property Web site.
According to the protest Web site War-Line.org, there are two interested buyers for the Lion’s Den property. Both are local buyers who want the property for another type of business.
The Uniontown Lion’s Den was already facing possible closure based on a county ordinance that prohibits sex businesses from locating in residential areas. Similar ordinances have been upheld in numerous federal courts across the country over the past few months resulting in the closure of several adult businesses. The court was expected to rule in the Lion’s Den case by late October.
