New GoBible gets even more portable
GoBible was developed in 2005 as a way to fill a void in delivering religious content to Christians using the latest technologies. In a culture where the mp3 player, television, music and video streams and satellite radio are readily available, people feel as though they have no time to read. GoBible was created to counter that trend.
GoBible has recently released the GoBible Traveler, a smaller, lighter and more compact version of the original GoBible. It is still completely preloaded, so there is no need to connect it to a computer. It contains both Old and New Testaments and 36 bookmarks.
Both can be ordered for $59.95 in either the King James Version, as read by Alexander Scourby, or in the New International Version, as read by Charles Taylor. A Spanish language translation is narrated by Rafael Cruz.
For those who already have an iPod or mp3 player, GoBible.com has the Bible available for download along with sermons, books, other translations and dramatizations of Scripture.
The new package comes with one AAA battery that will run the unit for 20 hours, one set of earphones, and the easy-to-use GoBible Traveler.
