Plain Games developed a bar rating system making appropriate or inappropriate games recognizable at a glance. The games are also rated objectively with a star system.
  In November 2007, Plain Games signed on with Family Entertainment Central to provide review services. Family Entertainment Central is a product of the Family Entertainment Association, a family-centered non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and promoting wholesome entertainment by means of a unique, single-source, online system.
