Dems back Gay Pride month

homosexualPro-family activist Peter LaBarbera is criticizing the Democratic National Committee for a issuing a declaration of support for "Gay Pride" month.

DNC Chairman Howard Dean and openly homosexual House members Barney Frank (MA) and Tammy Baldwin (WI) have issued a statement "celebrating the contributions" of homosexuals and their families, and stressing the Party's "commitment to promoting full equality under the law for every American."

The declaration also urges passage of the Employment Non-Discrimination Act, the Matthew Shepard Hate Crimes Act, the repeal of Don't Ask, Don't Tell, and calls for "a comprehensive, science-based strategy for combating HIV/AIDS."

LaBarbera, president of the group Americans for Truth About Homosexuality, says the Democrats' "pride proclamation" reads like a laundry list for the homosexual special rights agenda.

"They talk about the party's core values. It's disturbing to see one of America's major parties viewing the celebration of homosexuality as a core value. You know, you go right down the list. They talk about gender identity and expression – that means rights based on gender confusion. We're talking about men in dresses – civil rights based on men who like to wear dresses. What they call full equality translates in to a loss of freedom for moral-minded Americans," LaBarbera contends.

LaBarbera says the DNC declaration encapsulates the homosexual agenda, with the exception of same-sex marriage. He believes the Democrats should openly admit their support of homosexual so-called marriage.

"I mean they know they can't say that now. That would hurt their election plans, but that's where they're headed. Everybody can see it," he says.

According to LaBarbera, "it's a sad day to see just how far the Democratic Party has fallen."
