Philly's ACORN being less than truthful

Bertha Lewis, CEO of the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN), as well as The Washington Post, the Philadelphia Daily News, and the liberal group Media Matters have been reporting that the filmmakers -- James O'Keefe and Hannah Giles -- were kicked out of the Philadelphia ACORN office on July 24.
In an interview with Media Matters, ACORN's Philadelphia office director Katherine Conway-Russell predicted that in light of her account of what transpired in July, O'Keefe would never air his video of the encounter. She also claimed that O'Keefe and Giles never mentioned prostitution.
However, that claim and others are debunked by O'Keefe's latest video, released yesterday at the National Press Club.
Conway-Russell: "They never said that she was a prostitute."
O'Keefe: "We mentioned prostitution twice."
O'Keefe: "No one's going to be prejudice against her because she's a prostitute?"
Conway-Russell: "That's right."
O'Keefe's Philadelphia video is heavily edited, and mutes the voice of the ACORN employee who was filmed because of what O'Keefe calls ACORN's "legal attack" on the filmmakers. (See related video news report from Fox News)
In the video, O'Keefe asserts that at no point during his visit to Philadelphia ACORN was he tossed out or asked to leave the office. He poses numerous questions he feels need answers:
"Why did the Philadelphia press report we were kicked out? Will those reporters now print corrections? Would The Washington Post print a second correction?" he asks.
"Why didn't Katherine call the police on us while we were there, or at least not help us? Why did she give us her business card and provide information about a housing intake appointment, giving us advice in regards to a housing counselor after we talked about the underage girls?
"And finally, now that ACORN lied to you, Media Matters, what are you going to do?"
