Much at stake in California

A pro-family leader in California is asking the public to respond to a handful of anti-family bills expected to appear before the governor in the near future.

Randy ThomassonCalifornia Democrats are pushing several measures that appear ready to land on Gov. Jerry Brown's (D) desk. Randy Thomasson, president of SaveCalifornia.com, is urging Californians to ask Gov. Brown to veto four bills that would negatively impact families, women's health and parental rights. "AB 2109 would result in healthy children being forcibly vaccinated despite their parents' wishes. This bill affects kids in public, private and home schools," he notes. "SB 1172 bans parents from getting counseling for their own child, a child that's suffering from gender confusion. SB 1476 allows a child to have three or more legal parents. SB 623 authorizes certain nurse practitioners to abort preborn babies." Since so much is at stake, Thomasson says it is imperative that voters in The Golden State respond immediately.

The California Legislature is scheduled to vote on the four measures this week.
