A pro-family activist who works to expose the truth about
homosexuality says it's outrageous that the "son" of two lesbian

Zach Wahls told the Democratic National Convention last
week that his parents are lesbians who love him as much as a
mother and father could. The 20-year-old said he was surprised
at how many Americans seemed to feel threatened by same-sex
relationships, and he rejected the contention that children
need both a mother and a father, insisting all they really need is
a loving family like his.
Peter LaBarbera, founder and president of Americans
for Truth about Homosexuality (AFTAH), says this type of
propaganda does not substitute for reality.
"Sometimes these gay activists, they think just saying it makes
it true -- sort of like the way homosexual activists used to say
that ten percent of society was gay," he remarks. "That was a
lie, and this is a lie. It is a lie to say that a child that is
raised by two mommies, supposedly two lesbians, is raised in a
normal family. That is a lie."
LaBarbera decides that hauling this young man out at their
convention only reinforces the proof that the Democratic Party is
"It's shocking to see how far the Democratic Party has
fallen," the AFTAH president tells OneNewsNow. "Now
they're celebrating homosexuality at every turn. Unless the
Democratic Party turns course, they're going to lose a lot of
people who don't want to embrace these radical social values."
But LaBarbera is thankful that the Republican platform is
in stark contrast to the Democrats, supporting traditional marriage
between one man and one woman.
