Gay activists have turned into Bull Conner and don’t even realize it. Jim Crow is alive and well, lurking in Washington, DC, and actively working his segregationist mojo against folks who dare to return to sexual normalcy.
Donnie McClurkin is a black, Grammy-award-winning gospel singer who was slated to be the headliner at a weekend concert celebrating the legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr.
However, once the representatives of Big Gay got wind of the fact that he is an out, loud and proud former homosexual, all of a sudden McClurkin had no civil rights whatsoever.
The black mayor of Washington, DC, called McClurkin while he was on his way to the concert and told him not to bother to show up. In other words, one black was telling another black: “There is no room for you at our lunch counter.” You can’t sit here, you can’t sing here, you can’t even show up here.
McClurkin was sent to the back of the bus while his betters were allowed to sit in the front. In fact, McClurkin wasn’t even allowed on the bus at all. He was told to walk home. To paraphrase, he was told he has no rights that even the black man is bound to respect.
For all the hyperventilating bloviation we hear about how gays are victims of discrimination, the real bullies and bigots here are homosexual activists, for whom the issue of sexual deviance trumps everything, including race. Don’t miss the stark reality that this is blatant bigotry based exclusively on sexual orientation, which we are endlessly and mindlessly told is the unpardonable sin. And this egregious prejudice is being perpetuated by those who claim the mantle of Martin Luther King, Jr.
Ex-gays have now been hogtied, along with Christians, and exiled to the outer rim of the world of civil rights protections. In essence, they have been stripped of civil rights altogether.
As Regina Griggs of Parents and Friends of Ex-Gays & Gays noted:
"Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy cited public 'animus' against gays as a reason to strike down part of the Defense of Marriage Act, yet gay rights groups promote hatred against former homosexuals. As shown with Donnie McClurkin, ex-gays are the most powerless and discriminated against minority in America today.” (Emphasis mine.)
Donnie McClurkin is a nightmare for the sexual deviancy cabal, for he is absolute, irrefutable, living proof that gays aren’t in fact “born that way,” that sexual preference is not fixed and immutable, and that changing one’s sexual orientation is perfectly possible. He is a one-man rebuke to virtually every lie gay activists are trying to get a gullible and naïve public to believe.
Because he is a nuclear threat to the entire homosexual agenda, they contend he must be neutralized, silenced, marginalized, and deported from polite society.
It turns out that Donnie McClurkin is the one who needs anti-bullying protection from the new KKK and their overlords at the Human Rights Campaign.
It looks like it might be time for a new civil rights march – this time against the hateful bigots who run Big Gay.
