A Massachusetts pro-family activist who has been a staunch critic of Mitt Romney says the alternative to a Romney administration is worse than anything anyone can imagine.
MassResistance President Brian Camenker was unabashedly critical of Mitt Romney during the primary campaign, citing the former Massachusetts governor's record that was not so conservative on social issues.
But now, Camenker says he was impressed that the Romney camp at the recent GOP Convention in Tampa allowed the party to adopt a solid pro-family platform, including support for traditional marriage and opposition to abortion on demand -- a stark contrast to the Democrats' national platform.
"The idea of Barack Obama being president again is worse than anything anybody can imagine," Camenker suggests. "Romney has his faults, which are no less than they ever were, but Obama is so far off the charts. I think that a Romney administration is something that we could endure; an Obama administration, I think, would be the end of the country."
So, while the MassResistance president still has issues with Romney, he concludes that Obama is much worse.
