Mass. GOP going against party platform

The Republican establishment has poured more than $1 million into one congressional race in Massachusetts for a candidate who is a homosexual activist.

Brian Camenker of MassResistance made the discovery and says Richard Tisei is not the conservative the Republican Party touts him to be.

Camenker, Brian (MassResistance)"He is rated for abortion 100 percent by NARAL and 100 percent by Planned Parenthood," Camenker reports. "He co-sponsored the buffer zone bill. He co-sponsored an emergency contraception bill that was vetoed by Mitt Romney because it would force Catholic hospital workers to act against their faith."

The activist also points out that Tisei has openly stated he will "marry" his homosexual partner once he wins the race.

"He's marched in the gay pride parade," the MassResistance director adds. "He's worked closely with the gay lobby to support their bills in the legislature, supports homosexual marriage, strongly believes it's a civil right that must be granted across America."

And when a judge ruled in favor of same-sex "marriage," it was Tisei who led the fight against allowing Massachusetts voters to decide the issue "and then bragged about it," according to Camenker. He adds taht Tisei also sponsored a transgender rights bill in the legislature.

Camenker questions why the Republican Party is investing so much money into an extremely liberal candidate, when there are conservatives who support the party's platform on traditional marriage and life and could use the funds.
