Pro-Life

It depends on life

As November 6 approaches, the pro-life movement is revealing an important message to the undecided voters in swing states.

Commissioned by the Susan B. Anthony List, Woman Trend conducted a poll [pdf] among undecided voters in swing states who just learned about Obama's deep pro-abortion conviction.

Quigley, Mallory (SBA List)"We found that basically a majority of swing voters, 54 percent, are less likely to vote for President Obama after learning about his record on the Born-Alive Infants Protection legislation, where he opposed giving equal treatment and constitutional protection to babies that are born alive after a failed abortion," relays Mallory Quigley, a spokesperson for the SBA List.

The survey results also show that Americans are turned off by the fact that taxpayers are funding abortion and the Health and Human Services mandate that forces free coverage of abortifacient drugs and sterilizations.

So, educating the public could make a difference in November's vote count.

"We've seen in past elections that pro-life voters really make up a sizeable voting bloc, and they're capable of achieving victory in close elections," Quigley asserts. "This polling is showing us that we have an opportunity to expand that voting bloc and to really educate voters on the president's extreme abortion record and turn them to the pro-life side."

The survey was conducted in the battleground states of Wisconsin, Florida, Ohio and Virginia.
