A California abortion clinic is to be reported to state officials for another abortion-related incident.
An ambulance was called Monday to a Bakersfield abortion clinic owned by Family Planning Associates. Cheryl Sullenger of Operation Rescue reports that the vehicle transported a patient to a nearby hospital.
"The abortionist, his name is Vernon Wagner, came out of the clinic and engaged one of the sidewalk counselors," she details. "There were some harsh words exchanged on the part of Vernon Wagner towards the sidewalk counselors."
Sullenger tells OneNewsNow there have been nine abortion-related deaths at Family Planning Associates abortuaries.
"The Family Planning Associates has actually a history of abortion deaths dating back to the 1980s," she notes. "In fact, Vernon Wagner himself is accused of gross negligence in the death of a woman named Tami Suematsu, and she died because of his negligence during an abortion."
Suematsu had an asthma attack, which led to respiratory failure and cardiac arrest while Wagner was reportedly doing other abortions.
Operation Rescue plans to file a full report on Wagner with the state.
