No turning back for Susan G. Komen

Charlie Butts   (OneNewsNow.com) Saturday, October 27, 2012

As many Komen for the Cure races have been and are being held to raise money for the Susan G. Komen Foundation, pro-life organizations are reminded of a dismal period in that organization's history.

American Life League's Paul E. Rondeau says, "It was less than a year ago, Planned Parenthood was being defunded by Komen for not actually providing direct breast exams and mammograms and diagnosis [and] Planned Parenthood was demonizing Komen as being the most anti-woman, anti-women's health care organization in the nation."

Rondeau added that Komen has truly lost their direction for a time.

Rondeau, Paul (American Life League)"It is obvious to me that Komen has lost their way, and now they're forced to sit on the fence with Planned Parenthood and not know which direction they can go in the future because they certainly can't claim to be pro-life when they're funding Planned Parenthood, the biggest abortion store in the world," he explains.

Rondeau believes there is no turning back now for Komen.

"It is a travesty for women's health and it is a warning to every other organization that truly cares about the health of women," says the spokesman. "If you get in bed with Planned Parenthood, it's like joining the mob. They will tell you when you're done. You will not ever tell them."
