Emergency puts spotlight on abortionist’s misdeeds

A pro-life organization contends there’s new evidence an abortionist operating in several states needs to be taken out of the business.

Jackson, MS, abortion clinicAn ambulance Wednesday transported an abortion patient from the Jackson Women's Health Organization to a hospital. Operation Rescue's Cheryl Sullenger notes it's the only remaining abortuary in Mississippi.

“The abortionist on duty [in Jackson] was Bruce Norman,” she tells OneNewsNow. “He's the same abortionist who sent three women to the hospital at an abortion clinic in Birmingham, Alabama, owned by the same lady who owns the Jackson Women's Health Organization in Jackson.”

After the three women were hospitalized – all in one day in Birmingham – Alabama health officials investigated the clinic owned by Diane Derzis and documented 76 pages of violations. The state subsequently revoked the clinic’s license. According to Sullenger, that didn’t stop Derzis.

Sullenger, Cheryl“So instead she opened [that clinic] without a license and has been operating it illegally with Bruce Norman ever since,” says the OR spokeswoman. “So this pair – Bruce Norman and Diane Derzis – are also involved in this Mississippi abortion clinic.”

Derzis also operates abortion clinics in Georgia and Virginia. Sullenger says Norman works in those facilities as well.

Operation Rescue is calling for people to tweet under the hash tag #ShutDerzisDown to gain public attention, get the clinics closed, and force Norman out of the profession.
