It's the American College of Pediatricians, headed by Dr. Michelle Cretella. The SPLC provides a map on its website identifying various organizations as "hate groups." Cretella's organization, dedicated to the best interests of children, is among many groups marked on that map. She tells OneNewsNow it's listed primarily because members value life from conception forward.

"We also promote the scientific truth that the natural family is best for children,” Cretella explains, "and we put out the science about all the harm that comes to children and adults from the homosexual lifestyle. So for putting those scientific facts out, the SPLC has labeled us a hate group."

Cretella is familiar with the history of the SPLC and the fact that at one time, it made a positive mark on the civil rights movement.

"However," she says, "now they have become nothing more than thugs for liberal, leftist causes. They are essentially a hate-mongering, anti-traditional morality group."

Cretella says truth is the enemy of the SPLC – and the American College of Pediatricians intends to continue telling the truth, for the sake of children.
