burning U.S. flagThe founder of a family values organization and a former presidential candidate are ratcheting up a warning to parents to check for radicals in their children's classrooms.

It is well documented that the political Left dominates the American public education system, and Campaign for Working Families Founder Gary Bauer is alerting parents that the presence of radical, Left-wing ideologues in schools is sharply increasing.

"We're seeing increasing evidence – particularly among Millennials – that young people have been taught that America is an evil country, that it was built on slavery, it was built on genocide, etc. … that the Founders were horrible individuals," Bauer asserted in a recent edition of conservative Christian group’s “End of Day” newsletter.

He insists that parents need to screen the background of their children's teachers and begin teaching their kids about America's greatness at home.

"If your child has been taught to love America and been told that America has made mistakes, but overall, it's a country, that has produced more liberty for more people than any country in the history of the world, they will be more likely to speak up in the classroom to resist a teacher that tries to tell them otherwise," the pro-family activist insisted.

At the same time, Bauer noted that there are countless good teachers in public schools who do their best – despite the influx of radicals.
