When Donald Trump was elected in November, the American Civil Liberties Union posted on its website: "See you in court." Now it contends there has been a tremendous surge in donations – $80 million online alone – and membership doubled since the election.

Liberty Counsel founder Mat Staver tells OneNewsNow it is astounding if those figures are accurate.

"You know what it really shows is that we are in a serious battle," he offers. "If anyone thinks that they can relax, take a deep breath and go home and do nothing, they're sadly mistaken. Obviously what we see is the secularist agenda ramping up to unprecedented proportions to battle us every step of the way."

Furthermore, according to Staver, it shows that the ACLU knows it won't win at the White House or Congress, so it will use the courts to force its agenda on the country.

Staver describes the ACLU as "a rabid dog that knows that it lost, and now it is going crazy in every way possible to raise hysteria [and] cause chaos."

In addition, he believes the ACLU doesn't care if the nation collapses and falls to its knees.

"They just want to push their agenda, which is frankly destructive to America and to our future," he says.

Staver suggests people pray, jump into the front lines for the battle that's just beginning, and support the organizations that fight to protect traditional, biblical rights.
