Trump ad: Dems will be responsible for murder

ICE arrestsAs funding for the proposed wall along the U.S.-Mexico border continues to be blocked, President Donald Trump released a new campaign ad asserting that Democrats are “complicit in every murder committed by illegal immigrants.”

Trump launched the ad in response to Senate Democrats’ vote to shut down the federal government as payback to Republicans for not including amnesty for at least 3.5 million illegal aliens in their spending bill to keep the government running.

Holding Dems accountable

To demonstrate how illegal alien criminals freely crossing the border have inflicted harm on American citizens, Trump highlighted an example in his ad of what takes place when a secure wall is not in place to keep tragedies from happening.

“Luis Bracamontes – a 37-year-old illegal alien from Mexico who allegedly shot and killed Detective Michael Davis and Deputy Sheriff Danny Oliver in October 2017 – is featured in the ad, saying in the courtroom during his murder trial that he wished he ‘had killed more of the [expletives],” Breitbart News informed.

The illegal alien was then shown smiling in the courtroom as he threatened to commit more crime once he broke out of prison – similar to the way he fled Mexico by breaking into the U.S. via its unprotected border.

“I will break out soon and I will kill more – kill whoever gets in front of me,” Bracamontes promised, according to Breitbart News. “There’s no need for a [expletive] trial.”

After covering the illegal immigrant’s explicit and inflammatory courtroom outburst, the ad calls the tirade “pure evil” and warns Democrats that future killings will be on their hands – because of their decision to not secure the border by withholding funds for Trump’s border wall.

“The ad goes on to state that Democrats are ‘complicit’ in illegal alien crime, so long as they continue supporting open-borders policies like sanctuary cities, which harbor criminal illegal aliens and shield them from deportation – while blocking full funding for a wall on the southern border and legal immigration-cutting reforms to raise the wages of American workers,” Breitbart News’ John Binder reported.

The ad also features images of Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.), House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) appearing across the screen during the following succinct narrative that reinforces Trump’s case for the wall:

“President Trump is right – build the wall, deport criminals, [and] stop illegal immigration now,” the ad tells viewers, according to Breitbart. “Democrats who stand in our way will be complicit in every murder committed by illegal immigrants. President Trump will fix our border and keep our families safe.”

Where’ the Democrats’ allegiance?

Trump primarily put the blame for Saturday’s government shutdown on Democrats putting the interests of illegal immigrants above the well-being and safety of American citizens.

“[The Democratic Party wants] unchecked illegal immigration,” Trump declared early Saturday, according to The Hill.

He was referring to Democrats’ unwillingness to budge regarding their push to continue former President Barack Obama’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, which would grant amnesty to approximately 800,000 young illegal immigrants – dubbed by the Democratic Party as “Dreamers.”

“The president has previously signaled he is open to a fix for the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program after rescinding it last year, but attacked Democrats for refusing to get behind increased border security in exchange for securing votes for the spending bill,” The Hill reported.

However, left-leaning mainstream media credits Trump – not Democrats – for putting a monkey wrench in the negotiations that ultimately led to the shutdown.

“Trump nixed a bipartisan Senate proposal that would have provided legal status to immigrants who came to the country illegally as children, known as ‘dreamers,’ in exchange for a $1.6 billion down-payment on his push to build a wall on the southwest border with Mexico,” the Washington Post reported. “The plan also would have made changes to the nation's legal immigration system.”

Monday marks the third day of the federal government shutdown, and if Democrats and Republicans do not come to an agreement on immigration, many agencies and services could go unfunded for nearly another month.

“Without the immigration deal, the Senate blocked a House bill that would have funded the government for four weeks, leading to the shutdown,” the Washington Post’s David Nakamura noted. “A large majority of Democrats voted against the bill, along with a handful of Republicans.”

Besides Bracamontes and other lone-wolf illegal alien criminals murdering citizens and cops, Trump has also warned about how America’s open southern border has been a portal for MS-13 and other transnational gangs to enter the U.S. He has also pushed for travel bans on immigrants from African and Middle Eastern nations that have been proven to be hotbeds and breeding grounds for Islamic terrorism, such as Somalia, Iran and Syria.
