Hillary's America (movie poster)Why does the African-American community, generally speaking, continue to vote Democratic? Perhaps because they haven't seen Dinesh D'Souza's latest film.

Hillary Clinton's America – The Secret History of the Democratic Party exposes the roots of the American Left and what the Democratic nominee for president is doing to keep herself in power. D'Souza told Fox News the audience is getting the unvarnished truth about the "soul" of the Democratic Party.

"They're going to see American politics portrayed in a way they've never seen it before," D'Souza said of the film. "It actually shows that there's a sordid strain of oppression, subjugation, really gangster-ism in the Democratic Party from the beginning."

Approximately 620,000 soldiers died fighting the scourge of slavery in the Civil War. White Republicans in Congress championed civil rights legislation in the 1960s. Still, blacks flock to the Democrats.

American Family Association's Abraham Hamilton III says Democrats have been hiding the truth for years.

Hamilton

"They don't want us to know and to learn [for example] that the Ku Klux Klan was really the military enforcement arm of the Democratic Party," he explains, "who sought not simply to kill black people but to eliminate any threat that would allow political equality – which is why there were more white people lynched by the KKK than black people."

After a limited opening on July 15, D'Sousa's film (see trailer below) opened the next week in over 1,200 theaters and currently ranks #9 at the box office.
