Planned Parenthood logo with cash backgroundNow that the nation's largest abortion provider has produced its annual report, a pro-life activist says there's no doubt Planned Parenthood really is an abortion mill.

The report, which covers the 2016-2017 fiscal year, shows Planned Parenthood performed 321,384 abortions, a drop of approximately 7,000 from the previous fiscal year, Newsbusters reported.

After examining the report's numbers, Eric Scheiner of MRC TV points out that Planned Parenthood aborted 83 unborn babies for every adoption referral.

"So basically, if you're looking at the numbers for 2016 that they released," says Scheiner, "it's 321,000-plus abortions during its last fiscal year while only offering about just over 3,000 adoption referrals."

Referring to that statistic, Scheiner points out how Iowa decided to use funds flowing to Planned Parenthood to instead go to true medical services.

The abortion giant shuttered some of its Iowa clinics as a result – even after showing $98 million in net revenue according to the report.

"I believe under the Iowa measure they only lost about $2 million in revenue," he says. "So this is an organization that continues to look at the government and to taxpayers to be funded to commit abortions."

American taxpayers, in fact, forked over approximately $543 million in the form of government services, reimbursements, and grants, the Newsbusters story also reported.

Another statistic that has been noticed is a slowdown in patient traffic by approximately 100,000 but yet nearly $100 million in net revenue.

"They're serving less patients," former PP clinic director Abby Johnson, now a pro-life activist, told the "Janet Meffered Live" show on Jan. 4.

"They're making more money," Johnson said, "and all of their services are down."

Other figures reported in the story show prenatal services decreased from the previous year from 9,419 to 7,762, which reflects 41 abortons for every prenatal service.
