Operation Rescue is calling for additional federal scrutiny of a California abortion clinic that may have been involved in the scandal over the sale of aborted babies' body parts.
The clinic in question is a Planned Parenthood in Orange County, California. Operation Rescue's Cheryl Sullenger explains what pro-life counselors discovered at the crack of dawn recently.
"There's been a second ambulance in four days arrive there and transport a woman to the hospital," she tells OneNewsNow. "So that makes us really wonder what kinds of issues they're having inside that they'd be injuring so many people." The nature of the injuries and condition of the patients are not known at this time.
Sullenger says the Orange County clinic is the same Planned Parenthood facility that supplied baby tissue, organs, and body parts to two companies that then sold them to other entities.
"Those two biological organizations were actually sued by the Orange County district attorney and had to pay $7.8 million in fines for illegally trading in aborted baby remains, which came solely from this particular Planned Parenthood abortion clinic," states the pro-lifer.
The question is whether the clinic made a profit from the sales, which would be a violation of federal law.
Operation Rescue hopes the two ambulance calls will generate attention from state health officials – and that federal authorities will look further into the baby parts aspect to determine whether the clinic ought to face federal charges.
